Anyone else have this problem? Only Sunday lunch causes this for me. Meat, roasties, Yorkies sometimes, lots of veggies & some gravy. I eat it, enjoy it and then an hour later I'm famished. Why so? 🤷‍♂️

Poussin x 2 for lunch today. Don't recall ever having one before. No tricky I'm thinking. Just a bit smaller than a guinea fowl and a bit bigger than a partridge.

This snap from this day in 2018 is in my FBook memories today. How did my wee wife give birth to those 3 lumps? Aged 30, 25 & 21 back then.

This caught my eye. We've been to the Low Isles a few times. They are about 30 mins in a speedboat from Port Douglas where we, in a different time, owned an apartment. It's a rather special place if you are ever up that way.
Couple trades Tasmania for new adventure as tropical islands' caretakers
Life as the caretaker of a tropical island includes gardening and plenty of birdwatching, but the job is not all glamorous.

Mrs. M's finished her game pie today to be frozen for Boxing Day. Venison, partridge, pheasant & belly pork. 1.5kg of filling. The spillage always looks so tasty on the pastry.

Starting a week on the wards so checking the national data. Looks like it’ll be lots of ‘flu and RSV. If you’re unwell, please isolate. I know it’s easier said than done—we all have lots to do—but limiting viral spread is a job for everyone.

This is the tree in the centre of the village from a few years ago on Christmas Eve when carols are sung. The Council has banned the lights being put on the tree as it is deemed "too fragile" due to age. The switch on is this Friday. It still looks rather lovely without the tree being adorned. 🌲

Did anyone actually buy this when launched 4 years ago? 🤔

45 years since I spent 6 months in Hong Kong. I lived about 12km from Tai Po. Often went by or through it. Not much there. It was a large market village I guess then but housing development was just starting. Such shocking footage from there today.

What a fucking wanker! 🤬🤬🤬

And this is enabled by #Labour, with their #FarRight rhetoric, the racist #Reform & the #BBC who constantly platform #Farage.
