Stonepeak is a private equity firm founded by two Australian billionaires, Michael Dorrell and Trent Vichie.

Dorrell owns the only private island in Palm Beach, Florida.

Vichie’s company, Everwind Fuels, claims to be a developing “green” energy alternatives.

Now they’re human traffickers.
This ICE removal operated by Omni Air International is now making its second stop, in Sri Lanka. So far, migrants onboard have spent 34 hours in handcuffs, leg irons and a waist chain. There may be more stops.

Omni and its parent company were purchased in April by private equity firm Stonepeak.

Neither a man nor a woman here, I love Enterprise but I've skipped like all the "sexy" stuff which is basically half the show so idk if I can say I even love it properly.

Anyways male Star Trek fans are 10x more annoying than Women Star Trek fans that's my take goodbye

Once again for those who don’t know, but “The WOMEN!” saved STAR TREK from obscurity. Not once, but several times, and started the first conventions. #StarTrek

So 3 in 10 are women overall and 50/50 in the target demographic for advertising spending. Joshua, smh.

Never in my life did I think I would see this from a mayor to police: “We would like the Aurora Police Department to play a historic role in defending the United States of America, and our city against fascism. We have a unique opportunity to do something different….”
I haven't seen people here mention this letter from the mayor of Illinois' 2nd-largest city (Aurora, 40+% Latino)

to the Aurora Police

following egregious attacks by immigration in Aurora and related protests

So here it is!

someday we're gonna go thru the internal documents of this federal brownshirt bureau & find out they were just a bunch of incompetent gearheads egging each other on with racist revenge fantasies based on too many viewings of Sicario 2
This was a pretty typical "formation" if you could even call it that. Just guys masked up with guns and a lot of less-lethal gear, walking up to people. Very little communication.

Paramount tried its damnedest to erase women out of the fandom in the 90s and 2000s for damn sure.

Even with ENT, a show that leaned in to catering to what men supposedly wanted (read: cringe sex appeal), half the fans I knew online at the time it aired for women
I’m not a Trekkie but I’ve done enough basic research into the Star Trek fandom to know women basically invented it, and are why the show even continued to exist. This kind of writing is part of institutional sexism that denies women’s accomplishments and role in history and it infuriates me
okay grandpa, let's get you to bed
