I'm currently at the ER taking care of a family member—we don't know what medications we will need to get afterwards, I'm still working through commissions but if anyone can chip in via PayPal or Cashapp it would lift a huge burden from us this Thanksgiving.

This is happening in cross-stitch too. There are a lot of people making "patterns" that are just AI pictures or real art that has been run through a pixel filter that doesn't look good, doesn't match up with DMC threads, and doesn't make any sense.

We asked people with lived food insecurity experience what they actually needed. Turns out it's NOT what we thought.
Water-only prep items (many families have no milk/eggs). Seasonings (dignity = flavor).

I played this game and it was fun!
Jeff's orchestra played Hindemith Symphonic Metamorphoses tonight and I was sitting near the front so I got turn around a look at the reactions of the audience who had already thought the Barber violin concerto was too weird for them and it was very funny.
Also, Hindemith continues to be good
