My sister did one of those online evaluations and got a prescription super fast. Might be worth looking into. It really helped my anxiety and I was able to go off my anti depressants. Though im not always sure that was for the best.

Basically, im looking for a fun, kind dude in the 35-50 age range who's in decent shape, has friends, and lives in the city. I'd prefer someone with no kids, but im open to older kids. But this is a near impossible ask, it seems.

And that my friend is why I go on only a handful of dates a year. The single men in my age range are overwhelmingly not good at dating. And it's easier and more enjoyable to be single. But occasionally I think it would be nice to have a partner.

That's adorable. And obviously some men want to be engaged while dating. But I've had some many dates where if I had stopped asking questions, I dont think the guy would have contributed anything. And had almost no questions asked of me..

But also the audacity of someone to show up looking very different from their pictures after complaining to me about a date he went on recently where a woman looked nothing like her pictures. Meanwhile, im like all my pics are from the last year and let me tell you about my nose issue.

It was the most passive aggressive I've ever been in sabotaging a date. But also, is that what dating as a man is like? You just expect people to ask you questions and engage you? Cause it does feel kind of nice.

I totally get why people dont like it. But as someone who travels a lot. I find it enjoyable to not worry at all about being perceived as a weirdo because the only rule is to not make a not of noise.

He unmatched immediately after. And i had a fun little time talking about traveling, which he only briefly pretended to be vaguely interested in. Honestly, 10/10 would recommend.

I went on a coffee date this weekend and as soon as he showed up I knew I wasnt interested. He didn't look like jos pictures and hid whole vibe was not for me. But I was polite and had coffee. But instead of asking questions/being a good date, I just let him ask me stuff

I actually kind of love that airports are a weird transitional space that exists outside of time and social norms. Like everyone just does their own weird things and everyone else just leaves them alone and its kind of wonderful.

They used to give a free subscription to anyone with a .gov email. So in top of all the terrible stuff, they used to get a ton of government workers to read their paper because it had great reporting about our jobs. Not anymore.

I appreciate that Portland learned from the BLM protests and was like well we are not going to let you demonize us. We're just going to be as weird as fucking possible and that will terrifying the feds way more than threats of violence.

I knew him through work like 15 years ago. But its a running joke with me and my friend (we worked together) that whenever we do anything hes there. Its actually a little uncanny.

Peak smalltimore night. Not only was they older dude that is at literally every event me and my friend go to their. But also the guy doing the demo was also they guy who did my first tattoo and who I went on a quasi date with years later after casually dating him friend/former boss.
