The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
Yeah @mcuban.bsky.social talks a lot

People are going hungry

People are being brutalized

People are losing their healthcare

People are having civil rights violated

But hey, it's okay, cuz Mark Cuban has something to say

Okay Mark, go ahead and talk some more...
Don't forget THE EPSTEIN FILES

It's a unifying issue

People from ALL political viewpoints are opposed to allowing billionaires to rape underage teen girls

what is the point of having Society if we aren't using it as a means to take care of each other

Do to Home Depot and Amazon what we did to Disney!
Americans should be required to speak English and another language of their choice fluently before graduating high school or becoming an American citizen

That would solve a number of problems and years of complaints
If someone asks Mike Johnson why Trump can't end the shutdown with an Executive Order what's he gonna say? That Congress has the power of the purse? Well saying that opens up a can of worms for him, doesn't it?
Why can't Trump reopen the government with an Executive Order?

None of the "Thank You Sir Give Me Another" Republicans would object if he did

They've vacated Congressional power and handed everything over to Trump, therefore:

It's Trump's Shutdown
I wasn't at all a fan of the crap Charlie said but he was a civil proponent of free speech and we shouldn't be glad he is dead when Donald Trump is trying to eliminate free speech and jail those who say things he doesn't like

MARCH TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES

THAT is a unifying issue
Cancelling the report is politicized
Snickers and other candy are way too expensive anymore

They'll get a handful of pretzel stix and like it
Again, not the point

Millions believe in Jesus and especially in the teachings of the New Testament and the best part is that you don't have to believe in God to find value in those teachings

But if those millions believe Jesus is God, they may NOT ignore those teachings and support MAGA cruelty
If Donald Trump issued an Executive Order requiring paychecks for the troops during the shutdown, then the troops would get paid

Making this a talking point would make Trump look weak and force the GOP to say that Congress has the power of the purse, which opens up a can of worms for them
It won't work - too many people still think No Kings protests are unnecessary because he's not a king and getting rid of illegals is good and he's made peace in the middle east, etc

The unifying issue is THE EPSTEIN FILES

EVERYONE is against billionaires raping teen girls

MARCH FOR THOSE GIRLS

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
America needs THOUSANDS of more pastors to start saying the same thing
Completely agree, but it goes without saying because Garland was part of the Biden Admin

Ultimately, Biden's presidency was a failure because Trump wasn't held accountable on his watch and now Trump is too easily undoing everything he did

Biden was great for 95 yards but ya gotta go 100 for a TD
Dragging feet is a symptom of cowardice and not arresting him for the document theft when ANY OTHER PERSON would have been arrested IMMEDIATELY shows a distinct lack of integrity

Black farmers have always gotten shafted in this country.

I feel his rage 🔥🔥🔥
In support of Rosa Parks, the Montgomery Bus Boycott was organized

In support of Colin Kaepernick, black football players thought their million dollar salaries were more important than standing up for black Americans
