Loved this article extolling the virtues of the S3 E-Type. I will say it managed to kind of rehabilitate it in my mind; I had always dismissed it ("new wine shoved in an old bottle" as the article aptly put it).
Still wouldn't drive a FHC 2+2, though. 😅 OTS is the way.

Well, whatever "honeymoon" I experienced with this game is definitely over. I haven't played it in a couple of weeks, and don't really want to.
It's like they *really* overcompensated for Legends: Arceus (a game I now want to replay): There's FAR too much battling; it's not relaxing or fun. 👎

So I finished the main story of Z-A late last week. A few thoughts:
- Really enjoy the battle mechanics, but the inability to pause at key points is annoying.
- Story is kind of a disaster. 5 mins and I can improve all plot points.
- Lack of menace from "antagonists" neuters all tension.

Reread this for the first time since middle school. It absolutely holds up.
Side note: I love that the only copy I was able to find at 2nd & Charles was this beat-up paperback for $2. Guarantee it would have been chucked in any other context.
