just had an idea for a practice project that i think i can build that would do something i think is actually useful

finally broke down and spent time grinding extremely annoying javascript problems to put in reps on syntax
it’s working, obviously. and i feel good about the gains. but i will be glad when i have gotten good enough to practice via actually doing stuff lmao

my grandmother is more frail than she’s ever been. her energy is quite low. she didn’t even come downstairs, we visited her up in her room. it doesn’t feel like she’s fading, exactly. more like downshifting. idk.

okay, that was not what i would call an interview, lmao. they have in-house recruiters and one of them just called me, rattled off a script that included a few generic questions, and said that if one of the 10 possible teams chooses to move forward with me, they’ll let me know by Aug 2nd
finally got an interview at this company i’ve been lowkey courting since February, and highkey courting since i finished my program last month. here’s hoping i land the position 🤞🏾
