'The Great' - I've been struggling to get to the last Season. I've found the series tedious. Always the same claustrophobic rooms, always the same characters and acting. It's not often I cannot finish a series, as the few episodes left really feel like it's too much to bear til the end.

Somehow discovered recently that a law was passed in 2023 to oblige people in France to use programmable and connected thermostatic regulator heads for heaters in every building (residential or business), and every room. By 2027. For ecological energy-saving reasons.

A student of mine just passed her Bailiff exam, with flying colours (both English written exam and English viva). It was extremely lucky she was given a specific subject we had worked on a few weeks prior. 👍

Upcoming mayoral elections campaigns are on, at a P.R. level. There's this R.N. (far-right) candidate (put there from Paris, with bald head and attitude), who announced that, should he win the local town's elections, he would cut off all public yearly grants to local associations and charities. 🙄
