I see BBC News have now deemed russia's war in Ukraine no longer merits it's own menu item on their homepage (in the UK at least). The item had been in place since Feb '22.

Our leaders may wipe their brows, back-slap each other and whisper that they've dodged a (nother) bullet. They're just rewarding his narcissistic beliefs. We'll be back here again before too long.
I understand the logic of providing Trump an off-ramp so he can back out with some dignity, but I think it's dangerous to do so. Each time these issues are resolved this way, he will be tempted to conduct himself this way again. What he needs is a public spanking.
