I really wish people would stop using slop to just mean 'thing I don't like' or 'stuff that is part of a trend'.

This is one pincer of the fascist campaign to define citizens in the US as white males, eventually only landed whites. The other pincer is the ongoing legal challenges to birthright citizenship and attacking all forms of unions granting rights to non white non cishet spouses
Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, just introduced a bill to ban Americans from holding dual citizenship. The bill says that to “preserve the integrity of national citizenship, allegiance to the United States must be undivided.” It’s called the Exclusive Citizenship Act.

Yes. Understand that the war crimes themselves; namely double tap strikes, and the killing of survivors is not unique or even a break in US military policy. The thing that has changed is the blatantness of the behavior, not the behavior itself.
Something that occurs to me about Hegseth is that military brass takes itself very seriously precisely because they know the business of empire is bloody, brutal, and prone to mistakes and its their job to give it the veneer of professionalism and legitimacy but then here comes Private Kegstand
