If Lab and Con believe the polls and expect Reform to get at most 30% of the vote, they can make sure Reform is "only" 30% of the next parliament by passing FULL Proportional Representation right now.

I think a huge number of Americans would like a non-Trump party to vote for, which is why fixing the midterms etc. will provoke a huge backlash from even Trump's 2024 voters. But a lot of that number wish the non-Trump party was not the Democrats.

The CIA would have done this without comment in the 1980s, purely to stop a commie takeover. Now it's to prevent South America becoming pro-China in the way that much of Africa already has.

Trump just claimed to have control of FIFA. He doesn't.

Trump is always lauded for his "tell it like it is" rudeness. But even he isn't brave enough to tell voters they have money illusion and that inflation is good for them.

Evidence from the DOJ’s case on Russian propaganda efforts with a link to the actual documents.

Fascinating how closely these mirror the Trump/Vance talking points!

Congressperson is one of the few congressmen who voted against the bill on the supply of weapons to Ukraine under Lend-Lease.
"I want to warn all of you about Washington's dangerous bipartisan pursuit of the war with Russia. We, like sleepwalkers, entering into the war, and the American people remain in the dark of ignorance. Last night, the House of Representatives approved the allocation of 40 billion dollars to Ukraine, while American families have to do without baby food. For comparison, in this context, Candidate B budget provides for the allocation of only 15.3 billion dollars for states' customs and border control. Apparently, Ukraine is more than twice as important to him as our Homeland." 2. Content of the campaign
We would like to reiterate that in the United States there are no pro-Russian and/or pro-Putin mainstream politicians or sufficiently large numbers of influencers and voters. There is no point of justifying Russia and no one to justify it to. All American politicians and influencers are patriots and supporters of American supremacy. However, there is a feeling among the US. Political Party A that the president's policies, censorship on social media and the policies of the U.S. Political Party B government are encroaching on their rights. They are dissatisfied of dramatic decline in the standard of living and large expenditures on offensive policy of the United States in Europe and Ukraine. They are afraid of losing the American way of life and the "American dream." It is these sentiments that should be exploited in the course of an information campaign in / for the United States.
Campaign Topics
1. Encroaching universal
poverty. Record inflation. Halting of Dissemination of information
It is obvious that essentially only social media can function as sources of information. At the same time, the uncensored dissemination, apparently, is possible only on Candidate A
On Facebook, Twitter
and YouTube we need to create multiple "perishable" accounts, primarily for the work with comments. Websites (landing pages) should serve as the sources of information for dissemination and for video content-YouTube accounts with a relatively small number of subscribers and commentators (usually, you get banned after reaching the level of 100 thousand subscribers).
6
The list of informational products to be disseminated
1. Texts of posts;
2. Comments on social networks and local group chats;
3. "Memes", including caricatures and collages;
4. Video content, including news stories in the Fox News style.
7. Organization of work
In order for this work to be effective we propose to create a project office (editorial office of the media campaign), consisting of thr Guerrilla Media Campaign in the United States
ntroduction
The information situation in the United States differs dramatically from that in all other
Western countries.
The key to this situation is the high level of polarization of American
society which is split between supporters of the U.S. Polítical Party B and US. Political Party A parties. We believe that supporters of the US. Political Party B are left-wing and far-left globalists who advocate for perversion of traditional moral and religious values, while supporters of the U.S. Political Party. A are normal people whose priority is to preserve traditions of the American way of life. It is important that "US, Political Party B' are also people of color and supporters of "affirmative action" and "reverse discrimination", i.e. infringement on the rights of the white population of the United States, while US. Political Party Al are the victims of discrimination by people of color.
Moreover, although the Candidate B is an appointee o

They also don't think inflation helps them at all, only that it hurts. It never occurs to them that their salary is a price for their labour, that ALSO went up (nominally or in real terms).

one problem is you when talk about why deflation (not disinflation) would be bad you quickly realize people don’t understand Rate of Change, like at all

ironically inflation is a good real-world way to *teach* this stuff in school, e.g. to get the ‘math doesn’t matter’ crowd, but too late for that

And the thing no one who knows how things work wants to acknowledge is that voters don’t want inflation to slow. They want it to *reverse.* Now, obviously that can’t happen without economic calamity, but the median voter doesn’t know that so they demand it anyway.

yes. Republicans think strong wage growth, jobs growth and prices growth keeping up with salaries is "a bad economy".

behavioral economists would point out how silly this is - why care if prices are up 8% if your wages are up 12%? - but most people don't even understand offsetting wage increases as a phenomenon that's inextricably linked to rising prices. they just think it's an unrelated reward for their hard work

the solution to the woes of France (and the UK and Germany) is obvious. The technocrat centrists must cut social security on the basis of country of birth. You could cut the deficit by 5% right now by crossing that rubicon. Then far-right govts that respect Putin will be kept out.

I would argue that many men already have fallen into that, because of the nature of work, and for other reasons.
