I was honestly considering, as a joke, saying "Threads of Fate", just to make people mad, but it's also janky and you do have to play it twice so in retrospect someone *had* to detest it

I'm over here wishing it had sequels

I *am* definitely enjoying the game, to be clear, and that bastard hard tree escape was A Good Time (also bastard hard)

Controls are kinda floaty and that's fine, whole thing slows down sometimes when I'm jumping? also fine

Ori and the Blind Forest is gorgeous and has a lot of cool stuff going on but coming right after playing Hollow Knight makes it feel real floaty

I don't know from Fashion Dreamer, to be sure, but it's always genuinely fun to be reminded that the corollary of "everything is someone favorite" is that everything is deeply loathed by someone, just detested as horrid garbage

Al Jazeera is doing videos of the Palestinian releases and they're heart wrenching. One man was detained for over a year and was released to find out that Israel had killed his two kids. The youngest was three. Her birthday would've been on Saturday. He'd made a small bracelet for her in prison.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.
