I bought this on sale from GOG for just over $1. I've only played through tutorial and first chapter, but I am in love with this game. If you like silly games, this is a good one to check out and I don't want to say more because going in blindly has been a treat so far.

Ohh gosh, amazing! Oh, and a fresh heads-up: a revival project set of month-by-month Sega Channel ROMs were released a few years back that packed in game file to replicate downloading them as you would on the service.

As part of our project to preserve the history of Sega Channel, we have recovered OVER 100 new Sega Channel ROMs, including the legendary lost game Garfield: Caught in the Act - The Lost Levels.

I just checked the tracking on my handheld and, um, what? Just say it will be here tomorrow. This is like the time equivalent of $0.99 being under $1.

After I beat it they released an update that fixed every gripe I had with the game. After playing it this weekend with the changes I definitely want to do a NG+. If you were on the fence, this is a great price and it's worth checking out.

I was shocked and delighted that the few family members that always talk about trump didn't bring him up once the whole night. This is anecdotal and might not sound like much, but it made my night and the signs that people are finally waking up are becoming more and more prevalent.

Going to a Christmas party, but as an introvert who will potentially encounter MAGA extended family members this requires a gummy.

But I'll be full of Christmas cheer by the time we get there even if I'm not quite looking forward to it now.

There was a Sonic Fighting game called Sonic The Fighters which was left on the Saturn and came and went without much fanfare. I forgot that LAD Gaiden contains the arcade version which looks beautiful in HD. I like how the Yakuza series has a little Sega arcade preservation in the later games.

After a long wait my AYN Thor is out for delivery on Monday. This is probably the most I've ever anticipated a system, and I've already backed up and converted my 3DS library to run on it. I'm so excited!

In a sea of $70+ games, the $45 game with no microtransactions won a ton of awards just by being a great game. I don't think the industry will try to mimic that, but it should.

It would be amazing if Clair Obscur created a better gaming landscape "for those that come after".

My only regret with the Steam Deck is that I didn't buy it sooner. There are a handful of games like Legend of Mana that aren't compatible with Steam OS (yet), but otherwise I've been blown away by what I can play on it. I'm also impressed how you don't have to mess with tdp settings or...

I liked Arcade 1UP when they were charging $250 for the cabinets, and the countercades are nice, but I can't say that this is too surprising. Their later cabs were $500+ and most people just don't have space for more than one of these, so it's hard to have return customers.

Didn't this just come out a few weeks ago? I saw a video on it and it looks more like a generic multiplayer game with a Painkiller coat of paint than a remake of the original, so it's not for me, but $20 seems like a good price.

I've been listening to a lot of Ozzy's music since he passed earlier in the year, and I regret that I never saw him live. There are a lot of great live clips on YT though, and this version of I Don't Want to Change the World is exactly what I needed to wake up this morning.

Playing PSP on the Steam Deck is like a revelation! The screen is huge, and upscaled these games look amazing! It's also powerful enough to fast forward really fast when upscaled. I'm very impressed!

I want to finish Lunar 2, but I get bored with how grindy the end of the game is. The whole game is pretty grindy, and the speed up in the remaster helps, but it feels so repetitive fighting the same enemies over and over to get through these late game dungeons.

Someone should start a tech company that makes clones of common apps, but the way they were before enshitification ruined everything. Just provide a simple, better experience that people will flock to, and take market share away and start a trend to make them fix their apps.
