As #TheArchers turns 75 I thought it might be nice to share our favorite storylines, characters and moments. For me it was Lizzy and Cameron Fraser, I couldn’t believe they’d actually do something nasty to the cozy Brookfield lot but when he dumped her at the service station, pregnant I was hooked.

I saw a map recently and while I don't believe in maps of Ambridge (it's all in my head, right?) - Meadow Farm is literally down the road a bit. Almost inconceivable that no one knows the multi-accented Esme who was brought up a ten minute walk away - let alone her father's first name.

I'm still hunting for the point of Esme. If the tenancy of the farm is up for grabs, we could hear about it by other means - through those who fancy applying for it, for instance. I still maintain Esme is really spying for The People Beyond The Felpersham Bypass. Be afraid, Ambridge… #TheArchers

The reality is Laurence will receive excellent care from a diverse and professional team in hospital but I’d still like to imagine someone giving him an ice cold bed bath & accidentally spilling it on his nether regions.
