I read Kelly’s piece again this morning when I woke up at 5 and couldn’t get back to sleep. Which reminds me: here’s something you can do if you’re in the Twin Cities.

I will probably be able to extend our motel stay until Tuesday or Wednesday. That means we will be on the street just in time for Thanksgiving. Please help us with a repost of this thread! Linked the USA Today story we were featured in. We need some help with a signal boost! @eve6.bsky.social
We're a homeless, disabled family. Dad is bed bound, on oxygen, and immunocompromised. He likely won't survive a nursing home, but I'm going to have to put him into one if we can't pay for a motel room. Consider helping us raise motel rent.

Hey friends - we have been running out of tents, sleeping bags, and tarps every single week and it's getting colder. We know of at least one camp getting evicted this week. If you can help, $ goes farthest but you can also bring winter clothes and secondhand tents to any of our drop spots!

Public policy works, pass it on.
