Disabled people can’t “just leave” the US.

It’s not a question of them “trying harder”.

It’s a lack of resources, money and physical health combined with the fact that most countries won’t allow disabled people in.

We must fight to ensure no one is left behind.

The reason Altman is out saying he wants to build $10 trillion of data centers and Anthropic is leaking they’re going to be making $2bn (??) a month by end of 2026 is because they are desperate. These are the actions of companies that need more money, and need it quickly.

I realize how scary it must be, but remember: Sora 1 has been out for over a year, so has Runway, so has Pika, and so has Veo. They want you to be scared, but they are currently blowing tens or hundreds of millions of dollars shitting out content that will only be useful as “Exhibit A.”

Sora is a paper machete. It is low-quality, impossible to make consistent or reliable, while also being incredibly expensive to run. Every single “good” video you’ve seen is cherrypicked from dozens of terrible ones to make you feel scared that this can create entire movies’ worth of content.

Every time you see a generated video, you can probably notice how it has quick rapid cuts? Like no more than a few seconds at a time? That's the only section they could find that was useable and they had to cut around the batshit stuff before/after it, and keep splicing things together.

Hind Khoudary reporting this morning that the aid entering Gaza is very little & not enough to meet the massive needs of the population. Hind also explains that a lot of what's entering are commercial trucks with goods to be sold. The problem? Lots of people have no money.

I have their Studio Series 86 Ironhide kit, and it’s a massive improvement to the figure. Combined with Lazy Eyebrow’s new front piece and separating the skirt pieces, it’s become my definitive Ironhide figure.
