An obscure piece of #Splatterhouse artwork most likely featured on a Japanese magazine, just in time for Halloween season. Removed a small element from the top left side, taking few liberties, applying the usual upscale/clan/retouch process. No clue on the artist.

This monster strangely resembles the Tyrant from the Resident Evil series.

i feel so conflicted on what I want Castlevania to do when it eventually comes back. we have so many 2D games that part of me would be more interested in a good 3D action game - but i also dont want anything like lords of shadow ever again

Having finally gone through the Silent Hill 2 remake, Konami just needs to give Bloober Team the Castlevania 64/LoD remake and let them work their magic. I'd be stoked.
