last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

it’s kinda a 🔺 which makes her look like she’s perma smile-squinting with a flat bottom lid
mildly smug, deceptive, but also a marker of “joy” when paired with upturned lips
such a deliberate and befitting feature… 😭🤝
