I made a South Jersey feed, because the Philly feed is nice but Philadelphians will be quick to tell you that just because I can see the Linc from my neighborhood, and it's closer to City Hall than Chestnut Hill is, doesn't mean it's a Philadelphia suburb: bsky.app/profile/did:...

Gonna call my senators this afternoon and say "I walked No Kings twice on knees with no cartilage, I walkered into the voting booth on a freshly replaced knee, and I'd just like to thank the senator for giving me permission to give up."

That topmost red dot is my house. There was enough of a gap between the flash and the pow that I was *not* prepared for how loud it still was.

Anybody got a line on a candidate with a reasonable chance of primarying Booker? I've got time on my hands and some IT/NPO-running/volunteer-wrangling experience.

Almost certainly not an actual manhole cover!
Police say Isiah Worthy of Dover used a manhole cover to break the glass entrances and enter 2 Delaware government buildings. Inside, he allegedly stole cash and a state government-owned SUV, which he crashed into two parked cars.

It really really feels to me like dude['s controllers] did not get the violent riots he wanted so he's going to pull increasingly obvious stunts until there's blood in the streets. If it has to be his own supporters rioting I don't think that matters to him now: what else does he need them for?

Whoops, missed commemorating this little weirdo's 11th adoption anniversary yesterday.
For real: early afternoon on Halloween, I heard a horrific yowl and thought, "oh no, I thought reports of kids torturing cats on Halloween was urban legend" and no, that's just the sound she makes when she really

This picture was a week after this kitten went door-to-door on Halloween afternoon, yowling at the top of her lungs for someone, anyone, to take her in. On the way to the shelter the kid with me said "She looks like an 'Olivia'" and WELP

Spouse and I have different approaches to the LFL stamps. I find it weird and passive-aggressive, and put that kind of info on bookmarks instead. Once you've taken a book, it's yours. I don't care if you resell it later.
This is just what my neighborhood middle schoolers need.

Please share YouTube links to the most regionally specific representations of where and when you grew up. Like… local sandwich shop commercials. Footage of amateur theater productions. Hyper regional news stories. I wanna see it all.
