Holy shit:

Stateline spoke to nearly a dozen firefighters, agency staffers and contractors, who said that top officials assigned to the fire deployed the crews to a remote location under false pretenses so federal agents could check their immigration status.

🧵 I know it's ridiculous, but when he's talking mitochondrial challenges & inflammation, he's again referring to his idea of vaccine-induced autism. Let me explain.

RFK JR: I’m looking at kids as I walk through the airports today...and I see these kids that are just overburdened with mitochondrial challenges, inflammation—you can tell from their faces, movements, and lack of social connection

MAGA is constructing the legal basis for martial law.
"The Home Rule Act limits the president’s takeover to 30 days unless the House & Senate pass a joint resolution to extend that time. On Friday, Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) introduced a bill to extend the takeover for about six months & to make that time the default for all future 'emergencies'.”
Please keep updating! I am enjoying this vicariously through you
I don't understand how spending $700 will get me a solid smartphone that I can use for years, but I've had multiple laptops fall apart within 2 years. They've got to be doing it on purpose
You're such an enabler, I was just trying to talk myself out of going to get some

It's so interesting hearing about her lore bc I had no idea who she was >6 months ago, and I only kind of know her now as a guest on other people's podcasts
@asherelbein.bsky.social look at how well this dovetails with your "for rapists, by rapists" theory
As if this week were not bizarre enough: Mount Pleasant residents tell me a group of federal agents gathered for a photo-op near a pro-immigrant banner, pictured below, then tore it down.

In its place, they left a dildo. A neighbor's Ring camera captured the whole thing...

DHS is recruiting using a not-so-subtle reference to a 1978 book from white nationalist William Gayley Simpson, Which Way Western Man?

Simpson's book was released under an imprint associated with the National Alliance, founded by Turner Diaries author William Luther Pierce.

Because I am angry I will share this again. One of the reasons that Israel is able to target individuals so precisely is that it collects every phone call in Gaza and stores the recordings in Microsoft Azure, then uses AI to analyze and pick targets.

"Exam maxxing Kumon monsters" cracked me up! Do you mean getting As by doing extra practice problems?
Interesting how much resentment this photo created from white conservatives who assumed that the dismantling of DEI meant elite schools would return to the 1940s.

I just landed in San Salvador a little while ago, and I look forward to meeting with the team at the U.S. embassy to discuss the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia.

I also hope to meet with Salvadoran officials and with Kilmar himself. He was illegally abducted and needs to come home.

If anyone out there still thought DOGE was "volunteering," game's up.

Taxpayers deserve to know how much $$$ the technofeudalists forced on DOL are being paid to steal sensitive data, fire federal workers and dismantle critical public services.

This is huge - and disgusting.
NEW: An unsigned interagency agreement calls for the Dept of Labor to reimburse the US DOGE Service up to **$1.3 million** for work done by four DOGE affiliates over 18 months.

Musk has previously stated that DOGE staffers would cost taxpayers nothing.

UPDATE: ICE is wildly unconcerned about where this man is and no one will tell me, his registered attorney. The universal answer so far is "let's wait and see where he ends up." This is deeply off.

We would have more rights at this point if UPS had lost a pair of shoes I'd just bought from Zappos
My detained client was scheduled for a bond hearing this AM in a MA immigration court. He wasn't brought in, and he and his case have disappeared.

I then received this notice of activity on a nonexistent docket in which his name was changed to "N/A"

It's all happening a lot faster than I expected

Trump and Musk are compiling all the data the government has about you in one place. It's the kind of thing you'd do if you wanted to create a police state--which we should assume they intend to do.
