It's time to take the butter out of the fridge. But do not put it on the radiator.

You have not lived until you are searching a Jewel for the estrogen patch that fell out of your pocket and you find it in the parking lot.

Sitting at the doctor's office on my birthday and the receptionist just put on George Harrison, and it's like my mom just walked in the room, even though she's been dead for 15 years.

Jewel has a BOGO deal on Land O Lakes butter. Don't forget the butter.

You know how there's a famous person kind of from near your hometown and now you just refer to them as "Modesto's own Timothy Olyphant"?

Buddies, have you bought your Thanksgiving Day butter yet? You should.

I'm going to have to take the Starbucks app off of my phone because I have unintentionally scabbed twice.

Day two of topical chemo and I already want to scratch my face off, which is probably part of the whole thing. Wear sunscreen, people.

I'm reading Susanna Clarke's Piranesi and it's full of idiosyncratically capitalized words. It's like I'm reading Trump tweets. More skeletons, though.
November 8, 2025 at 9:18 PM
I mean, all of us have words that we find particularly weird or cool, but I do not get why the president always has to comment on "groceries." Has anybody tried to break this down, other than from a Lucille Bluth perspective?

Going to throw a sandwich today. Just for fun.

Weird times over in Mayfair
October 30, 2025 at 1:51 PM
This is right by the hospital, an elementary school and a health clinic for low-income people. If they were literally there to get undocumented people, they could go to the shelter down the street. They're here to terrorize the overall neighborhood.
