my idea for future paradox is instead of just being robot versions of existing Pokemon they are instead robots disguised as pokemon and only when threaten in combat they reveal their true form , example :

I hated how the rainbow rocket plotline entirely sidelined our first major female villain in the series who was plenty interesting on her own, and I hated that I paid full-price for it when it could have easily been DLC. also I HATE that furfrou. you know the one.

I hated how there was a gaping plot hole around the recon squad not being able to return to ultra space despite them having the fully evolved other legendary the WHOLE TIME, I hated how the totem-sized pokemon didn't retain their size when sent to a gen 8 game (I worked for that!!)

I hated how they neutered Lusamine's motivations and entirely got rid of Lillie calling her out for her neglect, I hated how the climax fight with ultra necrozma relied on you running STALL to have a chance at winning, I hated how little was added to make it unique,

I hated the nothing that the recon squad added to the plot, I hated that they removed basically half of Lillie's character development from SM in what was probably a direct response to fans bitching that she was annoying, I hated how the rotodex would GUILT TRIP YOU for not interacting with it,

what I wanna know is why they went in this direction on a pokemon like... feraligatr. like. this is a concept that would have made infinitely more sense to do on something like mimikyu. what about a water gator'd design and inspo says "ah yes, comically giant mascot head is the way to go"
