According to his LinkedIn in he has an AA from a community college in CS. But it doesn’t look like he has any work experience in that field. Most people applying to CS jobs have at least a bachelors. So not sure what he was expecting.

Sorry, I should have said he dropped out two years ago. Still, tech is a highly competitive field and I don't see why anyone should expect companies to hire them for technical jobs if they only completed one year of college (possibly with no real technical training).

This NYT story failed the reader by not digging deeper. One subject dropped out of college after one year (five years ago) and lists "Windows" as his skillset. Story should be: young conservatives who blame immigrants for their personal failures and whose lives won't be improved w/ fewer immigrants

The next time the dems are in charge I don't want to hear a fucking word about coming together. No pardons, no probation. I want prison sentences after trials and guilty pleas, and closing of whatever loopholes they opened. Doesn't even have to be a big media frenzy. Just take these people to court.

There are shitty jobs no one wants to do under a fully socialist/communist system too. The difference is the way to motivate people to do them would require state force instead of the economic and social pressure and the risk of being destitute we have now.
