At the start of the week I learned that a character I played in a podcast had an ai trained on it, including using my actual fucking voice. Hearing my voice say things I have never said was a real moment of existential horror, and oh boy I am ready to bring hammers to these fucking things.

periodically I'll see a backlash that goes a little too far or seems kinda unfair. i never say anything because i think we need to be kinda unhinged and zealous in our response to this shit. I'd take an honest-to-God crusade against this stuff over letting it proliferate.

I oppose all bills that mandate online ID checks, infringe upon our constitutional right to free speech on the internet, enable government policing of online resources, and threaten end-to-end encryption. additionally, I want to advocate for section 230, which I have seen multiple legislators call for repealing. Section 230 is integral to a free and open internet, and repealing it would destroy the internet as we know it and countless livelihoods.
