@mgg.bsky.social has done all of Canada a solid right here. Thank you Megan. You’re my kinda nerd. ❤️
I put all the Heritage Minutes in chronological order by event so you don't have to. 🇨🇦

(I was looking for this and couldn't find it, so it became a weird hobby. It genuinely may be of interest only to me.)

We can now call this the “theatre of law” instead of the “rule of law”.
Lawyers may have to file habeas for each person in EVERY district simultaneously to prevent the government from shifting detainees around and let the courts figure out who has jurisdiction.

People say large language models are a watershed because, for the first time in human history, we've invented a technology we cannot control - but we haven't been able to control printers for 40 years.

Black Friday is upon us. Your inbox is likely already feeling the strain. I take this opportunity annually to unsubscribe from darn near everything. It’s perfect because every list you’re on is hyping something this week. Join me in turning #blackfriday into #unsubscribefriday

One of my favourite follows over on X just announced her departure. That's the signal I needed. I have a few profiles to dump. But it's time.
I also think I'm not going to import my 16 year history. (2008-2024) I'm not who I was back then anyway. Let's leave the culture wars behind.

Ugh,
I had hoped the spambots would take longer to find us. Three vaguely attractive, middle aged, male-fluff-bot accounts following me today. Block. report. I hope the mods have AIs on that job. Could get overwhelming.

An interesting side-by-side comparison. I posted the exact same job announcement on BlueSky—where I have 530 followers—& on X—where I have, theoretically, almost 10k followers. Still more engagement on Bsky
