I do not know why people don’t see the impending CRASH in innovation. Ai will never tell you what it thinks. It doesn’t think. It operates in the realm of symbolic abstractions, remixed probabilistically & entirely divorced from reality. Innovation is dead if we start to rely on these things.

One should consider that the massive surveillance mechanism musk has been building for the US and likely ALL your government data would go with him. Careful what you wish for.

It’s probable that this paper and the “data” it used was made possible by AI. So, it’s just gotten an order of magnitude easier to fabricate bullshit. And serious scientists will be spending multiple orders of magnitude more time combatting it.
