I had to search over 70 dusty archive boxes to find these cases! Great to be part of #WDYTYA.

The fifth episode of The Shropshire Witches Podcast is now live. In this episode, we explore the history and enduring legacy of The Workhouse. The human aspect of this episode made this difficult to record, but we believe it is so important.

My g g g grandmother immigrated alone to Australia from Germany and married shortly after arrival having a baby 5 months later. She had given birth a year earlier in Germany to a baby girl who died - father unknown. Her sibling remained in Germany and no clue there as to the father. #genealogy
I completely agree with you. I was explaining NPE to someone and felt I should use both used terms. I prefer Not Parent Expected as well but both are frequently used by different people. #DNA
Jan apologies - I meant to say Non Paternal Event 😵‍💫
My blogging has fallen behind over the past year. M hoping to be inspired by the A-Z challenge in the New Year. Still using Blogger. # blogging #familyhistory #genealogy #localhistory #househistory
NPE is Not Paternal Event or Not Parent Expected. My German GGG grandfather was not the biological father of my g g grandfather. On a mission to discover through #DNA who was. #genealogy
