Breaking News: A man who had been detained in connection with the deadly shooting at Brown University was released, the mayor of Providence, Rhode Island, said.
Brown University Shooting Live Updates: 2 Dead, 9 Injured and Suspect in Custody
Officials at the news conference said the investigation was continuing. They provided no details about the man who they released from custody.
