Hate this idea. Typical horror movie fodder. My idea for a Betty Boop movie is to execute it right, where instead of Betty being the murder, it's with Betty as a detective with Koko and Bimbo solving a murder mystery, in the vein of Sherlock Holmes or Pink Panther. Fully animated too.

The longest hiatus for a cartoon cat is Heathcliff, 40 somethimg years of nothing new with Heathcliff, Legendary Entertainment is doing nothing with it. Plus why doesn't he have a new book collection by Fantagraphics or something?
