Does social media change anything? I don't know.
Yet I am still here.

Another day, another social media platform that I'll end up abandoning when its owners start catering to fascists.
Terrible things are happening outside. At any time of night and day, poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. They're allowed to take only a knapsack and a little cash with them, and even then, they're robbed of these possessions on the way.

Trump’s announcement of termination of Somali TPS holders in Minnesota is legally problematic—while a president does have a lot of authority to designate and revoke TPS, he cannot legally wield that power to discriminate against an ethnic group or to target a state, like MN. This ain’t over.

Fox Business credulously reports that Saudi Arabia is pushing its investment into the US "to $1 trillion." The entire size of the Saudi economy is $1 trillion. How stupid are these people and/or how stupid do they think their viewers are?

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

Not only do we routinely see kids dying in ICE custody, now they’re missing nearly 1000 people who were being held in Alligator Alcatraz?

HOW THE HELL is this not a stop the presses moment?

We can only hope it’s not a Brubaker moment.

This is what happens when the oligarchy controls the media.
Corporate media:
•CBS fires Colbert for mocking Trump
•ABC fires Terry Moran for slamming Stephen Miller as “world class hater”
•MSNBC fires Matt Dowd for saying “hateful thoughts & words leads to hateful actions”
•FOX stands by Brian Kilmeade as he calls for Nazi state murder of 600K homeless

Haha remember when Dems lined up and voted for all the cabinet appointments. It was part of some deep tactical political strategy but now I can't remember the second half, the important part. What was it again

Charlie Kirk spent his life‘s work and all of his energy and time targeting out-groups while arguing for a world in which gun massacres would be easy to enact, plentiful, and inevitable, and he became famous and wealthy doing it, and we’re now not supposed to mention that because it’s not polite.

Political violence is always bad.

Always.

But don’t expect me to cry about it when the “victim” has spent his life telling us that gun violence is worth it when it’s YOUR loved ones on the ground.

I don’t want any violence. But violent people do.
