I just wanna say how touched I am by people's kindness and generosity. I was able to get gas, ($20) and cat litter that I couldn't before and put the rest towards the vet bills. I don't like needing help, let alone asking for it, but man did I need help. So really really thank you everyone ❤️

I don't like to ask for help but I mean if there's anything anyone can spare, a dollar or two would be really appreciated.

We spent $2400 for Beau at the vet. He passed that same night. I emptied my savings and my checkings, I still have $1500 to pay off of my credit card

What is a good alternative to Spotify that I can listen to with no ads (I am willing to pay a subscription up to $20 a month), that offers a very large selection of musical artists, that I can build a Playlist off of? I don't need multiple playlists, just one of liked songs.

This is my first day off since Beau passed. I stayed in bed for hours cause there wasn't much reason to get up. The house is so silent. He'd be running up and down the stairs excited, he'd be sneezing, he'd be doing his little chirps and squeaks, maybe even his yelling howl. It's just silence now

Before I toss them out I'm going to try and find the last few I have so I can really get all them pictured together.

I always felt compelled to save them all, but I'm ready to part with most of my things.

I've saved every vial of T I've had in 10 years (I've been on gel now for almost a year. About 11 years on T, but 10 taking shots) this is about 8 years worth of containers.

I'm finally throwing them out because I'm trying to have less stuff, but just wanted to send them off with one last pic.

Thank you. I really do need reminded that I can't rush grief, or outsmart it. It's so consuming and constant I really do try to get past it, but it's definitely not helping to do that. Having to go to work through this has really been messing with the grieving process I think 😬

I really like posting personal things here. I always had my art and personal separate on X and it ended up so isolating and impersonal and really took something away from my enjoyment of online spaces.

-how I felt in that first year. I spent every moment since then loving him so deeply for who he was, trying to make it up for how I felt when he was little. I don't think I'll ever be healed enough from Sami or Beau to have another dog and not burden my grief onto them
