Not only is it plain how Trump benefits from this personally, but calling it a “political persecution” is an admission that Binance is very much a political took of the Trump administration and by extension the rest of the GOP.

Will any Republicans decry this move, or happily take the cash?
Kleptocracy or Crytpocracy?

Not only is this a close business partner, but Presidents aren’t supposed to run businesses because of conflicts of interest.

And Binance was kicked out of the US for money laundering, such as funneling foreign cash into US campaigns, which is illegal.
This MATTERS…

Recent developments are promising for you in this area.
And if he isn’t lying he’s breaking the law by accepting private funding without the consent of Congress — to say nothing of the lack of approvals from the agencies it set up to prevent this very thing from happening. Conveniently, those agencies are shut down with the rest of the government.

We now live in a world in which Marjorie Taylor Greene is willing to call out Donald Trump, but John Fetterman won’t.

2025 is weird as fuck.

Jessica Tarlov just detonated the narrative:

“The government has killed 32 people in 7 strikes with no proof they were traffickers. The admiral leading the mission quit. If we had evidence, they’d face a court — not a drone.”

Friend of mine suspects the point isn’t so much the ballroom as the destruction of the East Wing; even if it’s never built, he made his mark, and no one could stop him.

Also: revenge against the two former first ladies who dared run against him for President.
Because the GOP let their party become a Nazi bar, and Democrats have the good sense to nip that shit in the bud.
Oh geez, I hadn’t even realized who said this quote until now.
All but one of the living former first ladies is a Democrat too, and two of them were specifically his opponents for his current office. This is absolutely revenge.
If tearing it down was a metaphor for the current moment, then longing for “how it used to be” should be its mirror.

Now that they’ve taken a near-literal wrecking ball to our institutions, we can’t just insist we restore the status quo: we need to build back better.

The Epstein Ballroom it is
Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!
This should be a bigger news story than it is, but the narcissist-in-chief sucks up most of the oxygen in the news cycle.
Any mentions of “a big tent” or decrying “purity tests” after Democrats nearly backed a Nazi for office should be regarded with appropriate suspicion from now on. In fact, all previous mentions should be reviewed with similarly deep skepticism.m, if this is what it was covering for.
Got another one for you.
"He's just a big galute, how could he know it was a Nazi symbol?" MOTHERFUCKER THAT SHIT WAS IN INDIANA JONES
