Took a look at a fun set JB Bickerstaff has been using when Stew and Duren are on the floor together in today's Under The Hood.

There seemed to be more of an emphasis on spacing last night after the brutal Cavs game. @detroitbadboys.bsky.social

I think that is one less than the Magic have on technical free throw attempts
Unclear if he complained or if he got a T for trying to sell the call. I think it's the latter, which is wild considering the calls Franz is selling tonight
Quick tech on Duncan Robinson. That's two on the Pistons tonight
Refs really keeping the Magic in this game
Imagine if the refs gave Cade a whistle at all
Imagine if refs gave Cade a whistle like Paolo
You're regularly scheduled stoppage to treat a Jalen Duren wound
Caris LeVert has been awful on defense tonight. Very late, seemingly very unaware
Sorry, only 9. But there is still time!
It's the first quarter so of course the Pistons are down double digits

Perhaps five-quadrant considering said hog
Pistons won't often be down 30, but the reasons they are down 30 are going to be issues for them all year.
Disaster of an offensive showing, but not entirely surprised it's rearing it's head against the cavs.
It'd be nice if the Pistons ever thought about creating an easy look for Cade

The Indiana Pacers are waiving center James Wiseman, league sources told @hoopshypeofficial.bsky.social. The former No. 2 pick of the 2020 NBA Draft has averaged 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game over five seasons with the Golden State Warriors, Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers.
Celtics-Pistons. You have nets on the brain
The Pistons look determined to work REALLY hard for their shots instead of simply trying to create good, open perimeter shots. I hate it
Interestingly, I read this is less an indictment of Billups and more of an example of Billups being too open venting his frustrations with his job.

Not clear to me this was shared for the purpose of other folks placing bets as opposed to "my job sucks, I am being told I gotta sit my players."
Reading through the Terry Rozier indictment — the inside-information-for-sports-betting one, not the illegal-Mafia-poker-games one, which is the one that doesn't explicitly name Chauncey Billups — and got wide-eyed at the section on Co-Conspirator 8: www.nytimes.com/interactive/...
Important to note that the Billups investigation and the Rozier/ sports betting investigations are separate, per ABC News. Billups allegedly tied to illegal poker games run by the Mafia, not sports betting. Again, all alleged.
I can forgive the Pistons defense as the Bulls were on a bit of a heater, but the offensive game plan was disgusting. Hopefully these players got something out of their system and they can go back to playing smart basketball.
Pistons are trying to muscle their way out of a big deficit. They need to settle down and just run some offense.
The Pistons season is underway
I cut cable and went the fan duel app. It's been reliable through baseball and basketball preseason. That and the ESPN app (bundled) still lets me pay less than a cable package that provides both.
Not to excuse, but curious how much this is attributable to the pre-planned Sunday edition vs. the weekday daily.
Those with sharp eyes might detect a subtle difference in NYT play last month of an event in one city, w 100,000+ attendees, versus play this morning of some 2500+ events w many millions of attendees, in all 50 states.

See if you can spot it! /s
