Horror reference books are my fave to read; opinions/thoughts on new and old genre flicks is my jam. In that spirit I wrote A CUT BELOW and amazing legends like Gale Anne Hurd, Joe Dante, and Clay McLeod Chapman say it's nice and good. #Booksky

Part of the joy of movies—a big part for me—are the posters. The windows into the film. Drew Struzan’s posters in every genre are a celebration of cinema. His work wasn’t marketing it was an expression and extension of the film. Legendary.

I originally saw this as a kid as Island of the Damned; it cuts out the prologue and with it the political subtext. Great flick!

This one's good! It's so hard to be natural, right? 👍

"By the time she died at the age of 79, she had as strong a star persona as her original screen fashion idol Katharine Hepburn — the kind that made inattentive viewers assume she was just playing herself." Wherein I write about the incomparable Diane Keaton. www.vulture.com/article/the-...
The Unfading Beauty of Diane Keaton
For over five decades, cinema bent itself around her profoundly original image. It had no choice.

I gave it the old nostalgia try, but it is painfully uninteresting. Come to think of it, I didn’t like it as a kid and much preferred Quark.
