I’ll admit it: I prefer the weird can-shaped cranberry gel product over fresh-made cranberry sauce.

BREAKING: I agree with something Trump said: “A wrong Leader can only bring catastrophic results to a country, no matter which country it is." You got that right, fuckface.

This is a fab little book for people who work on comics—it has helped me when I proofread for IDW—but, as I said when it first came out, I also think readers of comics would find it just as interesting! I certainly found it interesting as I copyedited it, and that was before I got the IDW gig!
The Proofreader’s Guide to Comic Book Style came out a year ago today!

To celebrate my first book birthday, I’m running a 20% sale on all orders on comicbookstyle.com now through Black Friday with the code BIRTHDAY

Fuck book pirates! A bunch of books I'm in are on this site as well. Fuck this site!
I'd never heard of this site until tonight. Both my books are on there. Did you know my publisher offers one of three lowest royalty rates in the entire industry? And that I didn't get an advance? Literally all I make is from royalties. Royalties I don't earn when you pirate my book.
I posted a buy link here to "A Magical Inheritance" a few days ago, and 24 of you immediately went to Anna's Archives and fucking stole it from me.

Yes, stole it.

I do not get paid for your download there because YOU ARE STEALING FROM ME.

I've got a Star Trek: Picard soundtrack playing while I review edits on @daytonward.bsky.social's forthcoming Star Trek novel TO DEFY FATE. Nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

As we enter the holiday season, I think it’s important that we all come together to say, “Fuck Trump!”

Got the first issue today for proofreading, but haven't jumped in yet—I've got a few Star Trek comic books with earlier deadlines! At a glance, it's as creepy as the movies! And, if you don't mind gore, check out the opening scene of Smile 2, an amazing single shot: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvWF....
'Smile: For the Camera' prequel comic reveals story details, inside art work (exclusive)
'Smile: For the Camera' prequel comic set in the modeling world doesn't uncover the entity's origin, but it does give new meaning to the phrase 'grin and bear it.' See an exclusive inside look.

I keep getting emails from people wanting me to hire them to market my TOS novella The More Things Change. I'm proud of that ebook, but if you think I'm going to spend my personal funds to market a ten-year-old book published by one of the Big Five, I don't think you actually know what you're doing!

Actually, it's not crazy to support @crazy8press.bsky.social's Kickstarter. I know, because I supported it. Wait, why are you all laughing?

As more and more apologists exploit the clinical definition of pedophilia to minimize Epstein's crimes, it seems clear they're laying the groundwork to protect other men whose names are in the files. Like, say, the president accused of entering dressing rooms at the Miss Teen USA pageant he owned.

If you enjoy Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, do yourself a favor and pick up @mfolson.bsky.social's The Other Frankenstein, which I'd call a modern-day feminist meta sequel—told in two first-person narratives, naturally!

Not that I would've traded my London holiday for anything, but still a bummer that my last weekend there was during Twin Cities Comic Con and @heatherantos.bsky.social and @farawaypress.com were both at the con during one of the few times I wasn't in Minnesota so I wasn't able to see them in person!

I was awake at 5:30 in the bloody AM, but, of course, my body thinks it’s six hours later, just starting the transition from London time. So I’m up and having a cuppa, natch.
