We had a cocktail at the Ten Bells, current building dates to 1845, according to the internet, but, according to the bar windows, the pub dates all the way back to 1666. Look closely, you can see my wife Sandra watching me from inside as I snap the pic.

We we’re in our seats after 40-minute delay and now at interval. Brilliantly boisterous Twelfth Night, lots of ad libbing with the people standing in the yard.

Today we had lunch in a cozy little place called Farm Girl a short walk from the Victoria & Albert Museum. The quote is "The only people for me are the mad ones," which I couldn't quite get in the picture, at least not without shoving the people at the next table, and their table, out of my way.

If you're intrigued by the Whitechapel murders, if you've read any books on Jack the Ripper, @hallierubenhold.bsky.social's THE FIVE is a must read. It will change the way you look at the crimes and the victims. This week I visited the graves/memorial plaques of the five; here's a pic of the fifth.
