💩Thames Water wants Ofwat to let them carry on pouring sewage into our rivers beyond the next general election.

😡And the one after that.

📢 Lugg Meadow, the UK’s largest remaining Lammas meadow, is under threat from housing plans. A rare habitat, rich in wildlife and tradition, could be irreversibly damaged.

🚫 We’ve objected to the proposal. Now it’s your turn.

🧵Our countryside is being ruined.

Nothing works. Our rivers are poisoned. Our green spaces are vanishing. Our wildlife is being wiped out - species by species, tree by tree. All sacrificed to greed, corruption, and neglect.
The proposal for a secure facility for children at the former Thames Water Depot on Lea Bridge Road has resurfaced.

We support the plan for the site to become @elwaterworks.bsky.social and will oppose the forthcoming planning application for this Metropolitan Open Land #Waterworks #LeeValley
