I have an idea and party Dems feel free to steal: stop sending constant texts begging for money for campaigns that are a year+ away, use those lists to organize people NOW w/ daily steps to save democracy so we can have those elections.

We've never seen a comprehensive attack on free speech like this in our lifetimes.

The assassin's attack on Charlie Kirk was also an attack on free speech.

Thea administration's crackdown on speech is egregious.

And more people support political violence. It's all so bad.

A video arguing that women shouldn’t be able to vote was just shared by Trump’s Secretary of Defense, the guy in charge of our whole military.

And Democratic Party leaders still can’t stand up to this administration?! Our rights are on the line and all our party leaders offer us is silence.
The Moscow crowd was vocal and warm and knows the stakes all too well. I am so grateful to have been a part of it, and grateful to the podcast, Sons of Patriarchy, for taking this on.
Last night, I was part of an event that represented resistance to Christian patriarchy and Christian nationalism, in Moscow. Next door to one of Wilson's big annual events. They moved their event!
The guy I have been writing about for years.

I was actually in Moscow, Idaho (his home base) when CNN's story aired. Word is, Wilson and his buddies are thrilled. They didn't get pushed. It was like free advertising.
I will have more to share once I sleep, but some of you are just hearing about Doug Wilson (founder of Hegseth's denomination, who said on CNN that women are the kind of people who come out of, and another of his underlings argued for repeal of the 19th amendment). 1/
The response to violent and sexual crimes is reporting to the cops. Handling it internally is what keeps perpetuating abuse within churches.

CNN, ALL reporters now picking up on this subject, ask the NEXT question.
As someone who has covered Wilson and the impact of his teachings for years, I would have hoped @cnn.com would have questioned Wilson's assertion that sometimes the way to deal with abuse is going to the authorities, sometimes church elders, sometimes family...
