Narration: I hemmed and hawed about going on HRT* for so long in my 20s.

A younger Jey ponders and says “Maybe I could try it? A bit more facial hair and a lower voice sounds real nice.

Narration: At the time, the only option that was available to me was injections at a full dose.
A needle is shown front and center.

Narration: I chickened out.

Jey sprint away telling themself “Nope! I don’t think T is for me actually!!”

Narration: Years later, I watched a friend transition using T-GEL.
Jey’s friend, who’s look has been changed for privacy, says “I’m starting T but it’s not injections—and it’s been pretty great!” we see Jey’s friend’s transition from pre-T to years on T with a full beard.

Jey looks excited and says “OH! I didn’t know that was even an option, and you look so happy! Maybe—maybe I could go on T after all!

Narration: I went through a lot of hoops to get there but eventually an endocrinologist prescribed me a dose of T-Gel that I was comfortable with as a nonbinary person.

A timeline of Jey in doctors offices, filling out mountains of paperwork, being put on long waitlists, until finally their endo says “Okay, I’ve sent your prescription off.” And Jey lifts their arms up in success “YAY!”

Narration: T-Gel is a form of topical testosterone. It can come in packets, tubes, or a pump bottle that you apply according to your prescription.

Tubes, packets and the common pump bottle of T-Gel are drawn.

Jey has their hands on their hips looking defensive as speech bubbles fill the entire background behind them, berating T-Gel and saying it’s hard to use or isn’t as good as injections. Jey says “I think it’s really amazing but I’ve also seen it get a bad rap."

Snapped out of his fantasy he is reminded that Chip is not in a position to be vulnerable. It's not safe for him yet. So the core of his desires is the last thought, how he wants to see a genuine smile.

Brooks looks concerned, the hearts gone from his eyes.
"But mostly...I want to see you Smile..."
Yellow begins to creep in from below, pushing the blue back.

Further into the daydream he goes, eventually to be influenced Chip's condition. Making the backgrounds were very fun.

Brooks falls further into his daydream, skin also fading into the universe. His brown eyes are dilated and marked with green hearts. A soft blush dusts his cheeks.
"I want to count your stars."

This Chip is a pure fantasy as Brooks has never seen him naked. Scars litter his back, bites marking his shoulders and claws left stripes down his spine. Freckled colored stars come off his skin. Brooks is gently running his fingers down to his hips.
The right image has him about to kiss Chip's neck, head held close.
"To learn your hidden constellations."

His daydream begins to be influenced by Chip's condition and gets more sexual. Brooks holds his fantasy man in his lap, hands holding onto his back just under his shoulder blades. Stars dance off his skin in the color of his freckles.
He has Chip under him, being clung onto by the freckled man. Faded words are barely seen hidden in the stardust that suggest he is gently encouraging Chip while making love.
"To make the heavens Sing."

The fantasy drops back to half reality as Chip notices he is being watched. Stars act as eyeshine matching with a soft smile.
Reality crashes in as Chip's eyes widen in panic, frowning and blushing ever so slightly. The background starts to fade to the flat green.

I wanted to explore Brooks' fascination with Chip and how he sees the other when his mind wanders. Needed to draw something cute after the chapter I just dropped for Dead Man Walking.

Brooks, a man with dark brown hair and lighter brown beard, sitting on his bunk looking off to his right, looking distracted and bored. He's wearing a white shirt and blue uniform pants.

Something or someone catches his attention. The background changes from his blue to Chip's green.

Chip, a freckled man with curly brown hair, is curled up on his bunk. His attention is fully on Citrus. He is wearing his uniform jacket and green shorts that show his lower legs marked with a few scars. A tiny smile rests on his face listening to the tale his friend is recounting. Citrus, a transman with a blonde fluff hawk, is sitting close to Chip while animatedly talking. He's not wearing any of the uniform, instead just wearing a tanktop and orange boxers.

Through Brooks' eyes he begins to see Chip's freckles as countless stars. Reality begins to recede to his daydream shown with Chip's skin fading out to a backdrop of the universe.

it should go without saying but if you want users to voluntarily tag their art then you need to not threaten to ban them if they do. like, you can either have a well-regulated, easily-filtered art ecosystem or you can ban art you don’t like and see it come oozing back out of every crack and crevice
