Today I discovered that Claude allows you to select a section of it's output and ask for clarification based on the selected part. 🤯 Up until today I've been describing these things in the chat (left side) only. 🙈 This is going to make things work sooo much faster!

Both are great for finding your licence keys or product updates which I appreciate. The visual language of lemon squeezy is super clean which I appreciate as a designer.

Looks like most of the design systems products I purchased on gumroad have all been moved to lemon squeezy by the makers (: when I was looking into things, the features vs pricing made lemon squeezy the most valuable to me at the time. Gumroad takes a pretty big cut for what it's worth.

We ran a randomized controlled trial to see how much AI coding tools speed up experienced open-source developers.

The results surprised us: Developers thought they were 20% faster with AI tools, but they were actually 19% slower when they had access to AI than when they didn't.

I've got Claude trained up on my design token architecture and naming templates. Yesterday, it was creating tokens from open-source code files. 🤖 We are still struggling with referencing other tokens and using math, but I'm sure that's a prompting issue on my part. 🤯 Wild times

Figma going public means new industry tooling coming because they will slow down, focus on 1/4 by 1/4 numbers before eventually being swallowed by a PE firm or sold for little to Adobe who will rename it.

Be on your toes design folk. Now is the time to try everything and use what works.

TIL if you mute a channel in Slack, you only see the BOLD channel name (signal to check what's new) if you are @ mentioned. 🤯 As someone trying to limit notifications, this is a game changer! #ADHDdesigner

The slack interface is shown with the channel preferences open. The Get Notifications menu has the Mute Channel option highlighted. The description of the Mute Channel option says "Prevent this channel from bolding for unread messages and only receive a badge if you're mentioned"

It's true! When I was diagnosed with ADHD 5 years ago I did this based on advice from my therapist and it changed my relationship with constantly being available. Started with my phone and then my computer. (:
