Out on a mountain trail yesterday, spider webs everywhere. A cloud covered the top of the mountain so everything was dripping wet like this.

Raindrops hanging off a spider web in front of some dead leaves. The people passing me were quite audibly surprised that someone would take a picture in this thicket. I assured them that taking photos of various places is good.

Gonna start making dinner. Bit of a family gathering this evening. Not had a tremendous amount of energy today. And made the mistake of absorbing some current affairs. So, gonna cook, chill and focus on something nice.

Hydrangea flowers and petals in the te-mi-zu-ya, or hand washing place, ay the entrance to Anamori Inari shrine. The okiome or ladle is also in the shot, which is used to pick up the water to rinse your hands with. There's one, beautiful ripple in the water. And a tiny little fox statue standing next to the ladle.

That time the night tried to chop you in half, so you set it on fire.

Tokyo Skytree at Jukenbashi in the rain, partly reflected in the dark river. The clouds obscure the lighting in the middle of the tower, but the top gets back at them by painting the sky bright red. As one does.
