DOGE cost taxpayers an extra $135 billion while destroying CFPB, which was actually stopping fraudsters, made social security hold times longer, and dismantled parts of our government doing real innovation like NOAA.

So if you want to make government work, do the opposite of what he says.

I was at 100 Montgomery just last week. The protests here aren’t as big yet because ICE has not shown up to the courthouse for a couple months. I hope it stays that way. But if they do show up again, you can be damn sure I’ll be there.

We can fix this. We know the fascist playbook and we’re seeing it play out right in front of us. We can’t have our representatives sit on the sidelines during this coup. We need leadership with the guts to stop this coup, and to beat fascism for good by building an economy that works for everybody.

Trump is trying to take over cities through force. Look at how ICE is rounding people up with no warrant. Look at NSPM-7, which labels “anti-American” or “anti-Christian” speech at extremist. Look at Chicago!

This is inviting lawlessness and disorder into our city.

We need a political process with Palestinians at the table to rebuild Gaza, to hold people accountable for the war crimes that have been committed, to dismantle the Israeli settler project in the West Bank, and to end the system of apartheid in Israel.
