Thank you, Speaker Emerita Pelosi, for your decades of service that defined a generation of politics and for doing something truly rare in Washington: making room for the next one.
The town hall tour continues this Monday! I’ll be at the Potrero Hill Rec Center to hear directly from you about what you want to see in Congress. Come through on 12/8 at 7pm and ask me anything.

As we get into the holiday season, we’re spreading joy the best way we know how: talking with our neighbors! Join our 2,000+ volunteer community and canvass with us across SF this month!
December 5, 2025 at 10:30 PM
Earlier this year, I said we’d be building the largest canvassing operation in San Francisco. And we've done just that. Our 2,000+ volunteers knocked 100,000 doors in the last five months!

You supported. We counted.
Here's your Saikatify Wrapped 2025.

Bipartisan support for corruption.

We need a new movement that holds corruption accountable in both parties.
UPDATE

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries tells CNN that the charges against Congressman Henry Cuellar and his wife were “very thin,” and that President Trump’s pardon of the couple was “the right outcome.”
1. BREAKING

President Trump says he is granting a pardon to Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar and his wife Imelda.

Federal prosecutors said they accepted around $600,000 from an oil-and-gas company wholly owned and controlled by the government of Azerbaijan and a bank in Mexico.

Lamea has owned and operated Temo's Coffee for over a decade, serving neighbors from the Mission and beyond. We’ll be at Temo's this Saturday at 6pm to chat with her about what it's like to operate a small business in SF.

When I’m elected to Congress, I will file a discharge petition on day one to force a vote on banning stock trading in Congress.

86% of voters, including 87% of Republican voters, support this. If we could force a vote on releasing the Epstein files, we can force a vote on this.

Very excited for @nateforutah.bsky.social

One reason I decided to run for Congress is this will be a change cycle. There's going to be a team of us going to Congress who will work together to get real, structural changes done.

Will be great to have @nateforutah.bsky.social on that team.
New ad dropped. Let’s go! I'm running for Congress in Utah's 1st District to take on big corporations & the billionaires. To make housing & energy more affordable, fight for Medicare for All, protect our public lands, & to build a future for all of us.

Another town hall in the books! Thanks to all the folks who showed up and asked questions last night in Bernal Heights. Next up, we’ve got Potrero Hill on 12/8 and Glen Park on 12/15. RSVP with the link in thread!

“…there is antisemitism amid Israel’s critics that must be condemned, but the charge is now applied so broadly that it is being debased. This normalizes vile conspiracy theories about Jews by lumping them together with legitimate critiques of Israeli policy.”

That’s what AB 715 does in CA.

Jobim: Triste. San Francisco voters, there is a candidate running for Congress who knows how to successfully challenge power and has a platform that’s better than any sitting congressperson: Saikat Chakrabarti. @saikatforcongress.bsky.social #cello #sf #sanfrancisco #jazz #latinjazz #2026elections

Our campaign has made its way down to Antarctica, but you don't need a passport to spread the word! We're canvassing in SF every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sign up with the link in thread.

EVs are the future. But it's didn't happen automatically. It happened because China spent a decade investing in this industry to drive costs down and make EVs the better choice.

Trump is bombing fishermen off the coast of Venezuela because of fake “drug trafficking” claims.

Meanwhile, he’s pardoning the CONVICTED drug trafficking former president of Honduras to satisfy crypto oligarchs Peter Thiel and Andreesen.

This is corruption at a whole new level.

San Francisco has always been a hub for innovation. But as we innovate, we can’t forget about our small businesses. They turn our streets into communities, and they’re the lifeblood of this city. We need to support Nadia, Mark, and every small business owner, not make their lives harder.

At this point, Medicare-for-all is the least we can do. We must start the conversation on a national health system like in Sweden or Norway.

In US, many have no access to quality healthcare at all. And wait times are worse than in our government run healthcare system: the VA.
🚨NEW: A new poll Americans’ support for Medicare For All has intensified to the point where the old attacks may no longer work.

As both parties legislate criticism of socialism, there has been a 50-point shift on a key question in just 6 years.

This is YUGE.

Last night I had the chance to experience the incredible performances and community awards presented at the American Indian Cultural Center’s Native American Heritage Night Celebration. Shoutout to April McGill and the rest of the team who put this together.

The federal government has failed our Bayview-Hunters Point neighbors. I recently met up with Dr. Ahimsa Sumchai Porter and a group of neighbors to discuss the toxic waste in Hunters Point that has been making Bayview neighbors sick for years.

Medicare-for-all isn’t just feasible, it’s necessary. With 27 million uninsured Americans and premiums that climb every year, our system doesn’t need incremental reform. It needs a full transformation.

Shoutout to everyone who came out to our very first College Night! This generation of college students is facing censorship on campus, an uncertain job market, and college administrations that won’t step up.

They don't need more of the same, they need change.

This is the way to do it. The Dem AND Republican establishments didn’t want him to pursue this. But he fought and forced their hand to create a new anti-establishment bipartisan coalition.

We need more people with this kind of strategic thinking.

@chiosse.bsky.social can win. In New York, it’s about turnout. And the more high profile a race you run, the more energy you get, the more people you get, and you win.
