I'm sorry. I do my best but sometimes slip up when typing a message on a platform that limits space.

I'm ND, I know things are hard.

I was trying to say publishing a lot in a year shouldn't be the reason to claim a writer has used gen ai without other evidence, as some people are able to do so.

As a PA, I have worked with authors who publish 4 books a year and others who publish 15+ a year.

These are people I've worked with for YEARS. Well before AI "writing" was a thing. Some people write fast, make fairly "clean" 1st drafts. When it's your JOB, it's easy to prioritize.

Authors, in the interest of helping readers spot gen ai 'authored' books, how many novels do you publish a year?

I publish one 80-100k+ word (epic fantasy) novel, and I can only do that because I drafted 8 novels before I started publishing any. 📚💙

Scrivener! I finally bought it this year after looking at it for a long time and it's honestly upped my writing game a lot!

If I think of something when I'm not at my computer to write, I'll send it to myself in an email and then copy+ paste it into scrivener later.

I was supposed to be writing so of course I re-arranged the folders in my doc instead. My WIP is 86k words + 55 chapters!

I'm writing the last part of the book but not sure how many words I have to go! My goal is to finish draft 1 by the end of the year.

As a PA, I just recently did to about 400+ MM romance readers. The topic was "how do you find new to you authors to read".

The majority of answers:

-amazon "you might like features"
-stuff your kindle days
-author anthology and multi author series
-newsletter swaps/features with other authors
