We're live, folks! @matthtaylor.com and I have a blood-curdling body-horror story in this talent-packed anthology, about TRANS WITCHES hunting a MONSTER. Of course, that mission goes horribly, horribly wrong.
Panels from "The Three Pillars" story in THE WITCHING HOUR anthology, by Jadzia Axelrod, Matt Aych Taylor and Jodie Troutman, where a witch turns into a monster to the horror of their apprentice.

WITCHING SEASON is on kickstarter!

@susanlbridges.bsky.social and I are in this, with magnificent art by @ryehickman.bsky.social!

WHATEVER YOU WANT is super gay and VERY trans

it's about people who claim to love you and say you can be whoever you want... until that's not who they thought you were
Whatever you Want logo in purple text on a white background, but the last few letters are decaying, fraying, turning black, and dripping A small child at a party, in a purple witch hat, with a creepy adult woman behind her. the woman's dress is turning into tendrils on the bottom, and her fingers are creepy, elongated, and claw-like Two women holding hands and touching foreheads, eyes closed, candles in the foreground, with wisps of candlelight arcing through the darkness around them

While I am in the midst of writing the script for my next comic, please enjoy this random comic I made a few weeks back.

Also, don't forget to come say howdy at Zina Warrior Print Fest this Saturday!

#comic #gay
A pair of eyes looking towards the camera with love hearts for pupils. They are also blushing. The title reads "Eyeball". Also, 15+ and "by Kaleb Bishop" is written on the panel.

A panel of one woman grabbing the face of another woman. The woman being grabbed is looking at the other with great joy, The first woman has lent in and is about to kiss the second woman's eye

The first woman has slid her tongue under the second woman's eye. We are now seeing an X-ray view of the first woman's tongue moving to the back of the second woman's eye.

The first woman has started to retrieve her tongue and by doing so has revealed that she tied the second woman's optic nerve into a knot. We pull back out to see the two women looking at each other. The second woman is stunned and lets out a "Whoa."

Second panel: Text: Where to find the creator. Instagram: @kaleb.Bishop.art. Bluesky: @Kaleb-Bishop-Art.bsky.social.

a quick comic to dispel the demon of having not made a comic
Emma sits peacefully with a cup of coffee. “It’s nice to take a few days where I’m not pushing myself to make something,” she thinks. She takes a sip of coffee. Her shadow lurches out from behind her and yells PURPOSE NOT BEING FULFILLED
Travel photos on this thread, I post so rarely these days why not
Rye’s favorite little guy from el museo de antropología en CDMX Affogato and branded table setting at the Hello Kitty Cafe in CDMX Paste-up that reads, “me quiero morir pero tengo cosas que hacer” attributed to butters_256, sin contexto Street art of a pink sharklike hominid, a reverse-rainbow between its arms. Rye is next to it, somewhat mimicking the pose

Srsly now more than ever we need this comic to be a massive hit.

We need comics companies and everyone else to see that trans creators and trans characters belong in our four-color splashy heroic adventures
Check it out!!!
I realised I never advertised my comic on Bluesky.
Better late than never, I guess lol.

Do you like depressing dramas? Do you like monsters that make you question your sexuality? Do you like GAY?!?!?!

If you answered yes to any of the above you should check out my comic Happy Hour.

Link in Bio.
The front cover of a comic called Happy Hour. Created by Kaleb Bishop, and edited by Rye Hickman. Two people are looking at a phone, one is laughing, and the other is smirking at the other. A comic page. Panel one, a man in a trench coat standing on a bridge looking down at a bear shaped bag he is holding. A beautiful city skyline is seen in the background. Panel 2, close up on the man from before. He is still looking down at the bag, but the background has turned to burly lights. TEXT: "I'm sorry". Panel Three, the man has dropped the bag and it has hit the floor making a "dunnt" sound. Panel four, close up on the man's hand grabbing the rails of the bridge. Panel 5, Close up of the tail of the men's coat flying in the wind with a "whooosh" sound seen behind it. End of page A comic page. Panel 1: a close up of a blonde haired man giving a smirk. TEXT: "sure". Panel 2: a pulled back shoot of the entire office. We are looking at the top of some cubicles. One cubicle is decorated with numerous stuffed toys and bear theme objects. Large text is emanating from this cubicle, it reads "REALLY?!?!" in all caps. Panel 3: a close up of a curly brown haired man's head. Sparks are flying out of it. TEXT: "I mean GREAT...". Panel 4: the same man but we are looking at his face. He is visibly flustered. TEXT: "...cool...". Panel 5: a close up of the man's hand as he rises it in a gun like shape. TEXT: "...Groooyy..." the text is wiggling. Panel 6: Wide shot of the brown and blonde haired man talking. We a are looking at the blonde haired man's back as he is looking at the other man who is shooting finger guns at him in an awkward manner. TEXT BROWN HAIRED MAN: I-I-I-I'll text you later with the deets then.". Second Text in smaller font: "I can't believe that worked". Panel 7: we are looking at the men's feet as the blonde haired man walks away. The other man is up on his tippy toes seeing him off. Balloon 1 blonde text: "I'll be waiting then.". Balloon 2, Brown: "Oh, you don't even know what's coming!". Balloon 3, brown, smaller font: "why did I say that?". Panel 8: we are looking at the blonde haired man grabbing his jacket and leaving. End of page The back cover of Happy Hour. We are looking at the back of Jeremey as he is down on his knees looking into a river. Text reads from top to bottom of page: ""A date night that reads like a chapter in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. An ending you know is coming but you desperately want it to not be so!" -Jorge Corona, Creator on Feathers, Transformers, and Middlewest. NEW LINE: Isaac is a depressed office worker who has lived a life trying not to burden those around him, but one day his ball of mess and excitement co-worker known as Jeremey asks him on a date. But can someone who has lived in the background for so long really connect with another? Follow Isaac as he confronts his inner self and tries to find out if he is worthy of loving or being loved. Text at the bottom right corner: Find the creator @kaleb.bishop.art on instagram and blue sky. End of page
First vacay purchase, so on-brand that I wonder if I might be a parody of myself
Rye’s hand holds the front cover of a book: fix de Eva, by Carla Lamoyi Rye’s hand holds the back cover.
When an indiv creator does well on a KS/zoop, they offer bling+extras to the reader. When a pub gets a lot of preorders they do…what, exactly
Disposable income is down. KS makes you feel like a sports fan, a preorder is cold n passive. I don’t want any party leaving the game but if I had to gamble
Anyone have a particularly hot comic take?
It’s hashtag self care!
One time I put an emergen-c into my little paper cup of the boxed wine that me and my friends had behind a con table and it was Significantly Worse than I expected, BUT I did not get con crud
The podcast ‘Lawyers behaving badly’ has been carrying me thru coloring, the past few weeks. Which is cool but my first response to hearing that a friend’s upcoming FFS got denied coverage by her insurance was “SUE THEM” and I’m not sure that gossip about legal malpractice should have led me here
