There was a nice atmospheric inversion layer when my flight took off early in the morning from Paris. Here you see dense fog on the ground that doesn't even reach the top of the wind turbines. The ripples are gravity waves created by the wind turbine towers as the wind blows. 🧪 🌬️

I normally split the mixture into 2, when I put it on the icing sugar covered bench. This makes two smaller logs / salami which fit in the fridge better. 1/n

Thought I might share my walk at Maungatautari last week. I explored the Northern enclosure. A restful place with lots of bird song, green ferns, & ponga. The track begins/ends over farmland, and the trail has harekeke alongside. The tui made the most of the flowers. 1/n
