19 Nov 1979, #FrankZappa's 1 & only rock opera, Joe's Garage, was released. The opera mixed styles of blues, jazz, doo-wop, orchestral, rock, pop & reggae. It was hailed as a milestone & landmark album. The work also looked forward to his later crusade against the Parents' Music Resource Center.
