Another 10k for #StrideForGaza2025 for @medicalaidpal.bsky.social - virtually it was from Khan Yunis to Rafah, but took in the autumn colours of Greenwich. #RunningPunks #GreenRunners
A view from One Tree Hill to the Observatory in Greenwich Park, trees with autumnal colours in between. Very grey skies. Aging runner smiling - he is wearing a Stride For Gaza t shirt over a red base layer. Behind are autumnal colours both from leaves on the ground and trees. Autumn coloured leaves and logs on the ground Small tree covered with autumnal colours

It makes no sense around central Lewisham, you’d have thought that it would have been a planning requirement to provide. Other boroughs seem more together about these things.

Today’s pic fits all the prompts! #twosday #rockintuesday #bluetue #tidesouttuesday from Haystack Rock in Oregon. Loved this hazy scene of a father and son riding on the beach!
.
#coloraday #eastcoastkin #pnw #landscapephotography
This photo depicts the famous Haystack Rock on the Oregon coast. A large black rock rises out of the ocean, surrounded by smaller, pointed rocks. There is a haze on the water making it look dreamy and slightly blurred. In the foreground, a father and son bicycle across the sand. The tide is out and the beach is shiny with water.

Don’t expect the private sector to provide either - ‘Of the 1,744 homes (on the site of Lewisham Shopping Centre) planned by Landsec, the centre’s owner, just 98 would be for social rent…’

The tide is out at Marazion, Cornwall and people are walking along the causeway to St Michael’s Mount.

The island can only be reached by boat at high tide.
In my photo there are rock pools in the foreground covered in seaweed. People are walking along the causeway or on the sand. In the distance the castle is at the top of the island surrounded by trees, gardens and houses.
The cloudy with patches of blue sky add to the atmosphere of the island.
The castle is topped with a flag.

An easy paced recovery run around Blackheath including a stop off in the old St Margaret’s churchyard. On the 🎧 Ezra Collective - so there was a large amount of air🎺 ‘played.’ #RunningPunks #GreenRunners
A crumbling church tower with an ornate grave in the front, all part of a grassy churchyard. A Victorian church viewed across the grassy graveyard of its much older predecessor. The sky is grey. White anemones with yellow centres against a red brick building. Ageing runner in neon Green squinting into the camera with orange pyracantha behind him.

The fastest #parkrun time since the spring, despite starting far too quickly and fading badly, but still managed first in my age group. Afterwards I had lessons from a 2 1/2 year old on balancing. Cone flinging (set up) before. #RunningPunks #GreenRunners
Autumnal colours on trees with grass to the front Ageing man in pink t shirt looking down towards the camera a tree with autumn colours behind him. Small child attempting to show adult how to balance on a beam. Grass parkland behind.

Who benefits from the abolition of stamp duty land tax?

The first answer: people buying very expensive homes. Average saving for someone buying a £10m+ home is £1.7m. Average saving for someone buying a £250k-£500k home is £5k.
