Graveyard Keeper makes a fun spin to the pixel art farming sim. Not for people who find digging bodies out and digging into bodies a bit much. I was a bit overwhelmed by some of the systems cause it's had a lot of updates but then I eased in.

Harvestella is one of my favourite RPG farming sims. It's got a fun mystery, interesting fantastical setting, amaaazing art for the food to be cooked, and some fighting with a job system (a lighter version than RPGs tend to have).

Subnautica has survival, building and exploring. I play it on easier mode where I only need to worry about Oxygen levels (not food and hydration) and not to stray in dangerous areas without proper tools.

You wanna know what's inevitable? Rule 34. (for those not in the know that's the rule that if something exists, there's porn of it) If electricity suddenly stops working somebody out there will still be drawing Bowsette on paper. If all paper disappears? Chalk on cement. A stick on a sandy beach.

I find the "(gen)AI is inevitable, cat out of the bag" kind of rhetoric hilarious. For genAI to work you need massive data centers with massive electric and water usage with massive subsidies and investments. There's nothing inevitable about it, it can literally be unplugged and patched out.

Sharing knowledge should be free in our industry. I really tip my hat to René, to be able to help us navigate the gaming publishing legal seas, and even for the case of the global south. Publishing is no joke, I've heard nightmarish stories of deals going wrong, so protect yourselves.

Yeah it's important to celebrate the good things a country does (I like Ireland's strong pro-Palestine) reaction without making it out like it must be heaven on Earth and right about everything and light years ahead of everyone.

They do that A LOT about Japan.

I didn't enjoy it. My post somehow left my sphere and I got piled on by an instance. Was nice to have the tools to just block the whole ass instance (or wtvr they were called) but it left such a sour taste that my posts never gain traction and yet that one got a pile up within days of being there.

There's a million-dollar mobile game to be made out of the job of line management at airports, by the way. Shortening and lengthening queues so that people are never hanging out in an unmanaged hallway space and never walking through useless empty queues.
