this sweater is amazing!
even a shallow bathtub with the right extenuating circumstances
I personally vote for them to go lie down in quick sand, but the sea is probably more accessible.
I have an application or a browser tab that is periodically making clicking noises.

This would be irritating.

Until I realized that I was mentally blaming all of the screens viewable on my right monitor first simply because my speaker is also on the right.

Now I'm just laughing at human brains.
fwiw United it making everything refundable; my guess is Delta does too? www.united.com/en/us/newsro...
My favorite part is the "an."

An AI Companion feature was to blame. Definitely not This AI Companion feature. Just one of them out there somewhere.
LMAO. @kateholterhoff.com accidentally turned on Zoom's AI Companion at the start of a call and then immediately turned it off. It still sent us a recap.
They still do, promise! 🤣
I try so hard to teach my children about having a good moral compass

And then they go and leave their Halloween candy bags unattended directly outside my office while they're at school

And frankly it's just rude to make me model the behavior back to them
I used to take them apart so I could do it all myself.

Lately though my kids come in to "help" during the last 50-ish pieces. Once you've given up rights to putting the last piece in you become less of a purist about such things.
Children in costumes is my best life. I love Halloween.
This is disappointing news on next year's KubeCon location.

Double-entry accounting is one of the underrated "this changed the world" innovations.

Everyone gets excited about the Italian art renaissance and no one gets excited about the Italian accounting renaissance, and that's a damn shame.

(kind of said in jest... but also kind of not)
arguably half of my job is explaining the basics of double entry bookkeeping so i think i should add "ACTUALLY understands debits vs credits" on my resume
I have sat at that exact table! :) I feel vicariously part of this experience
I have a folder on my computer called "My Darlings" that just contains snippets of all the writing passages I had to unwillingly delete over the years. Killing your darlings is the worst.
I mean I'm not saying it should say. After her @monktoberfest talk I am 100% not signing up to disagree with Ashley anytime soon.

But I am saying *I* personally want to see it. :)
Can I read it before it goes away? I love cheesy! Give me all the dad jokes!
(don't worry - it's been 4 years and she would have really really enjoyed this joke)
Normally I try to call them retros but I think post-mortem is correct in this instance.
today I realized I apparently haven't logged into facebook since sometime before June 26 2023.

I know the date because that's the timestamp of the oldest of many messages I had waiting for me.

It was an invitation to a friend's backyard BBQ.

I RSVP'd my regrets.
