The one call to action people could amplify is a trade and arms embargo on the UAE until they stop arming and supporting the RSF. The UAE is one of Canada and the US’ biggest trading partners in the MENA region.

The RSF in Sudan is the Janjaweed militia that was convicted of genocide in Darfur. It is the armed group that European governments funded in the name if reducing African migration to Europe. It is the group that the United Arab Emirates is funding in exchange for illegal gold mining.
